To create systems of sustainability and resilience in our communities (especially for Black, Indigenous, & people of color) by sharing practical agricultural knowledge to promote food sovereignty and provide access to creative expression and emotional outlets through arts.
To cultivate and provide the highest quality exotic plants, flowers, and gardens in Virginia using permaculture methods that work in collaboration with the land and its natural inhabitants and species
To grow organic produce and herbs to provide our communities and partners with more affordable and healthier local food sources
To provide a safe and unique third place for our communities to gather and learn from each other with workshops and classes based on farming, agriculture, cooking, and creativity
To collaborate with other like-minded individuals to foster creativity, ingenuity, safety, and community, while lifting the voices of our fellow Black and Indigenous peoples, all people of color, LGBTQIA, & any other marginalized groups
Own and operate two farms and botanical gardens in the Virginia area, the first at our home in Fulton Hill of Richmond city, and soon two acres of land in North Garden in Albemarle County.
Cultivate and provide exotic plants, flowers, herbs, and produce.
Create and sell natural value-added products including edible treats, juices, seasonal popsicles and ice creams, plus teas and herbal tinctures.
Host events, teach workshops, and hold classes in agriculture and arts as well as provide event space
Photography and filmmaking (independent, narrative, portrait, product, documentary, commercial, marketing, and social media)
COMING SOON: Overnight accommodations on-site for guests interested in staying at an urban farm and arts space.
In 2021 we built our first custom tiny home for overnight guests seeking a "glamping" retreat on a farm in Afton, Virginia, which we later sold in 2022
Built and sold 3 additional tiny homes to fellow Black farmers and artists
Purchased 2 acres of land in North Garden, Virginia to begin construction of 2nd farm location near Charlottesville (currently in progress)
Filmed the removal of the Confederate Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery in December 2023 and witnessed history in the process thanks to All About Presentation and Team Henry Enterprises
Partnered with Happily Natural to grow and distribute free or low-cost access to fresh produce and food, and joined the Black Farmer CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program
In 2026, accepted to the Runnymeade Community Farm (a program to connect beginning farmers, especially Black, to land access to grow on historic civil war battleground land) in Varina, Henrico County, where we will steward a half-acre, collaborate with other beginning farmers, and donate 10% of our harvest to Happily Natural
Complete construction of an additional classroom building at Richmond location to offer more regular classes & workshops hosted by local experts in agriculture, arts, and cuisine, coming April 2026.
Continue construction of North Garden botanical garden and rural farm.
Expand farm operations to a new location at Runnymeade in Varina, VA (previously confederate battleground donated to Black farmers) in collaboration with Happily Natural Day.
